Overview
Requests for public records are fulfilled under the guidelines of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140). The Township Deputy Clerk, Mary Donahue, is the appointed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officer for the Township of Proviso. The FOIA Officer is located at the Clerk's Office, Township of Proviso, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162.

Certification of Documents: $1.00/certification

Black and White Copies
8.5x11 and/or Legal: No charge for first 50 pages. Each additional page $.10.

11x17: $.10/page.

Requestors will be contacted within the time allotted by law with a response to their request; at that time the requestor will be informed of any fees associated with their request.

It is a violation of the Freedom of Information Act for a person to knowingly obtain a public record for a commercial purpose without disclosing that it is for a commercial purpose, if requested to do so by the public body. 5 ILCS 140.3.1(c).
